The conditions of this sale are as follows (for the purpose of this contract the term cat will be used to mean either an adult cat or kitten).

 

1.       The buyer accepts the responsibility of caring for this cat and providing properly for its welfare. The buyer agrees that this cat will always receive prompt, top-notch medical care and will never be allowed to harbor parasites. The Buyer agrees to follow the Breeder’s instructions on care, housing, diet, treatment and health care for at least two weeks from date of sale.

2.       The Buyer agrees to provide companionship for this cat, never leaving it alone for long periods of time without human attention. The Buyer agrees to provide a generous amount of exercise for this cat, to provide it with toys, top quality food and plenty of fresh water available at all times.

3.       The Buyer agrees NEVER to allow this cat outdoors unless leashed and accompanied by a responsible person to supervise the cat’s freedom and insure this cat’s health and safety.

4.       The Buyer agrees that this cat will NEVER be sold, leased or given away to another individual, pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory or similar facility. This cat/kitten is to remain in buyer’s possession and home.

5.       The Buyer agrees that declawing is a mutilation and a cruelty that is likely to alter the cat’s temperament and health and AGREES to NEVER have this cat declawed. If buyer declaws this

Cat, buyer will be in breech of this contract and all health guarantees are null and void.

6.       This cat is purchased for: A Pet. All Pets (non-breeder) must be neutered/spayed by the age of 6  months at Buyers expense and proof of altering must be provided to Seller at this time. CFA Registration papers will “only” be provided after Seller receives proof of alter from a State Certified  Veterinary for “ALL” non-breeder kittens.

7.       Seller GUARANTEES that Buyer is receiving a healthy cat, free of internal and external parasites and all infectious disease. Further, said cat or kitten has been vaccinated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotrachetis and Calici virus and blood tested for FeLV and FIV. A current certified USDA Florida Veterinary Health Inspection Certificate will be provided by Seller at the time this cat is received by Buyer. The Buyer must have his/her own veterinarian inspect said cat within two (2) days of receipt of cat (excluding weekend) and if any sign of serious illness is found, Buyer must contact Seller immediately, and may at Seller’s option, either 1)  Return said cat to Seller for replacement cat/kitten if and when available of equal quality and price; Or 2) take cat to Seller’s choice of veterinarian for a second opinion, in which case Seller will pay all reasonable costs. If a veterinarian other than Seller’s choice institutes any treatment or administers any further vaccinations to this cat without getting Seller’s approval first, this guarantee is null and void. All shipping charges for any returns and/or replacements will be paid by Buyer. Buyer agrees that this cat will be kept in an isolated area within the Buyer’s household and away from all other cat/kittens until two business days after receipt of the cat and the required veterinary examination has occurred. Buyer is STRONGLY advised to isolate this cat from other pets for a period of no less than two weeks after receiving this cat.

 

8.       The Buyer agrees Never to resell or transfer ownership of this cat without written consent from Seller. Buyer agrees to either keep this cat or find this cat a good home with a person who will agree in writing to the terms of this contract.       BUYER’S INITIALS _________________

 

 

9.        Sale price $ ___________CAT WILL BE PROVIDED ONLY WHEN BUYER HAS PAID THE COMPLETE SALES PRICE TO SELLER ON OR BEFORE:  ______________date. Seller will deliver possession of this cat only upon receipt of the complete sales price. Deposit to be $____________, Balance due prior to delivery of this cat $ ____________, on or before ____________date.  Date of possession to Buyer to be mutually agreed upon and take place by approximately on or before  _____________date. If said cat/kitten is being shipped to buyer, full payment must be received 7 days prior to shipping, including shipping charges for a total of $_____________. Deposit is non-refundable should Buyer decide not to purchase this cat/kitten at any time after deposit has been placed and cat has been taken off the sale market. If Buyer does not pay the complete sales price by the mutually agreed date in this contract, buyer will lose this reserve deposit and cat/kitten will go back to the sale market without any compensation to buyer.

11.     This is a (NON BREEDER) and must be Spayed or Neutered according to contract

12.     Should Buyer fail to take possession of this cat/kitten by the mutually agreed date when the kitten/cat is ready to go, buyer agrees to pay seller an additional fee of $15.00 per day for care and boarding. Additional charges for services such as grooming, additional vaccinations, veterinary care including time and mileage to and from the vet’s office will be applied.  Once the cat/kitten has been vetted with a current Health Certificate and it is ready to be shipped or picked up, it is considered “Buyer’s Property and Financial Responsibility”. Boarding fees will apply and commence the first day past the mutually agreed possession/delivery date plus any other additional services fees. The Sale price of this cat/kitten does not include “additional boarding, care, grooming and vetting” and Buyer will be charged for additional services past the due date for possession of this cat/kitten.

13.     Seller will choose to or not to agree to board said cat/kitten under the “ Buyer’s Property and Financial Responsibility” for a period of 14 days past the delivery/possession date, providing that the cat/kitten has been fully paid for by the agreed full payment date on this contract. Should Buyer not be able to take possession by not picking  up or accept shipping delivery of this cat/kitten past the 14 days of boarding for whatever reason, then Buyer and Seller must come to a mutually written agreement providing that Buyer has fully paid for the prior 14 days of boarding, and at Seller’s choice, Seller may choose: (A). Cat/kitten may continue to be boarded with pre-paid applicable fees and charges for a specified additional period of time to be mutually agreed upon and not to exceed an additional 14 days . (B). Should buyer not take possession/delivery of said cat/kitten after the mutually agreed date expires, then Seller will reclaim and take possession of said cat/kitten and Buyer will lose all claims to this cat/kitten without any monetary or replacement compensation.

14.     Under no circumstances, will Seller hold a cat/kitten past the mutually agreed possession/delivery date without additional charges unless Seller and/or Veterinary feels that the cat/kitten is not ready to leave, in which case Buyer will not be charged for additional boarding and Seller will assume all responsibilities for the care of this cat/kitten until it is ready to leave.. ______________________________________________________________________________
